KATHERINE (AKA “KAT”) ELLIS
OWNER / PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Katherine loves sharing her expertise and creativity with her clients. Her passion is to transform spaces into a beautifully curated reflection of one's lifestyle and needs, adhering to an organic-inspired minimal, and modern approach. Katherine is creative at heart and has found her passion for design by helping her clients improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being through intentional and thoughtful design choices.
Growing up in Wisconsin, and then later in Colorado, she has an appreciation for small-town slow living (and cheese), but also the energy and connection city life can offer. Denver provides a little of both: the city life, but with easy access to the rocky mountains for when she needs a breath of fresh air. Colorado has deepened her love for the outdoors and respect of the environment, as well as her appreciation for local and small businesses which she believes play such an important part in what makes a community thrive.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Colorado where she learned 2D and 3D computer-aided drafting. With this, and her background working for various design firms and clients, ranging from home staging, commercial design, kitchen and bath, to hospitality design, she’s learned to be highly adaptable and easy to work with in many different design settings and styles. Her background has given her a more technical approach to the design and construction process, which in return has allowed her to offer a unique service that bridges the gap between design, architecture, and construction.

Every time we had a phone call, she would follow up on the outstanding items and be very detail-oriented. We had an unforeseen/unavoidable issue with our new tub late in construction, and she went above and beyond to get it returned and find a replacement tub on a tight timeline and within our budget.
